Note

The Calendly chatbot can answer many common questions. Need more help? Support options depend on your plan:

  • Free plans: Email support only
  • Paid plans: Email or live chat with an agent

Chat bubble isn’t showing up

Can’t see the chat icon in the bottom-right corner of the Help Center? Try these steps:

In Calendly:

  1. Open Settings, then under Account select Privacy, and open the Cookies tab.
  2. Turn on Functional Cookies.
  3. Reload the page.

From the Help Center:

  1. Scroll to the bottom of any Help Center article.
  2. Select Cookie Settings.
  3. Turn on Functional Cookies.
  4. Select Confirm My Choices.
  5. Reload the page.

Step 2 – Use a supported browser

Use the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. See our list of supported browsers.

Step 3 – Avoid incognito mode

The chat won’t appear in private browsing. Open the Help Center in a regular window.

Step 4 – Turn off browser extensions

Ad blockers or privacy tools might block the chat.

  1. Close incognito mode.
  2. Disable browser extensions one at a time.
  3. Reload the page after each change.

Using Google Chrome?

Chrome’s translation tool may cause issues. Try this:

  1. Go to chrome://extensions/ and turn off Google Translate.
  2. Go to chrome://settings/languages and disable automatic translation.
  3. (Optional) Change your Calendly account language from Settings → Profile → General.

Chat shows an error or doesn’t respond

If the chat opens but won’t work:

Chat disconnects during a session

If the chat drops or closes on its own:

Tip: If you lose your connection during live chat, return and ask for the same agent by name. If they’re still online, we’ll reconnect you.
