Payments FAQs

Calendly supports Stripe and PayPal. You can connect one or both to your account. Payment requirements depend on your plan.

Yes. You can collect payments when invitees book a paid event type. You can require payment before booking is confirmed, or set up payment links and meeting packages for flexible selling options.

Yes. Each event type can have its own price. You can also create meeting packages with custom pricing or set up individual payment links for specific services.

Meeting packages let you create prepaid bundles of services that clients purchase upfront. Clients can then book individual meetings against their purchased package balance.

Payment links are standalone URLs you can share to collect payments for services outside of standard event bookings. They work through Stripe and allow you to invoice clients for specific work.

The invitee is charged during booking. The meeting is confirmed after the payment goes through. With invoices, you send the invoice to the client and they pay on the timeline you specify.

The payment goes straight to your Stripe or PayPal account. Calendly does not hold the money.

Yes. Each invitee pays when they book their spot.

Yes. You give refunds through Stripe or PayPal, not in Calendly. You can also void sent invoices or delete invoice drafts through Calendly.

If payment fails, the booking is not completed. The invitee can try again with a different payment method.
